12th Feb 2014

Since September we have been registered with Ofsted on the Early Years Register to enable us to accommodate a small number of two-year-olds in the nursery.   Some of you will know that in January we welcomed an Ofsted Inspector to inspect the nursery, and  judge how well we meet the needs of the two-year-olds.   Patti is delighted to say that the judgement is ‘Outstanding’!

The Inspector enjoyed her time with the children and appreciated hearing parents’ views.  The inspection process and report provide us with a valuable tool to evaluate and improve on our work.  The draft report has now been issued to us.   The full report will be available before the end of February.

We know that Bushy Leaze is a very special place to be and we feel so proud that the Nursery has now also been recognised as ‘Outstanding’ for our youngest children.  It is as a result of the commitment and expertise of the staff and governors and the on-going support of you as parents, along with the wider community.  This is of course only made possible by the wonderful children who were, as always, their delightful selves.
